Owning your own business requires wearing a lot of hats. But it seems that when many of us leave our jobs to “go solo”, we think that we must work completely solo as well. We insist on doing everything ourselves even tasks we know, we are not good at.

You will try to design your own Web sites and brochures, write your own sales copy, process your own orders, manage your mailing list, personally respond to every customer call and e-mail, ship the products, and more. Pretty soon you are running around and not sure which direction you should be heading.

What eventually happens is the love for your work, the reason you started your own business in the first place drowns in a flood of administrative trivia. Suddenly one morning you wake up feeling burnt out and without that positive, creative energy they used to have.
