Spending Too Much Time On The Little Stuff?
Owning your own business requires wearing a lot of hats. But it seems that when many of us leave our jobs to “go solo”, we think that we must work completely solo as well. We insist on doing everything ourselves even tasks we know, we are not good at.
You will try to design your own Web sites and brochures, write your own sales copy, process your own orders, manage your mailing list, personally respond to every customer call and e-mail, ship the products, and more. Pretty soon you are running around and not sure which direction you should be heading.
What eventually happens is the love for your work, the reason you started your own business in the first place drowns in a flood of administrative trivia. Suddenly one morning you wake up feeling burnt out and without that positive, creative the energy you used to have.
Well I’m here to say stop right NOW! Who the hell do you think you are? Superhuman? Forget it, your not! You are a wonderful, amazing person that will only drown if you try doing it all yourself. Then, you are not going to be so wonderful and amazing, but frustrated and angry!
That is not the reason you started your business! Let me assist you in achieving the real goal cause I want to see you succeed! So, please stop spending time on those little stuff. I mean it!
